Before moving to the UK from South Africa, I spent over 14 years in the public sector ICT space, working my way up to a management-level position where I gained a wealth of knowledge and experience in operational and project management, and earned my PRINCE2 certification.
Since moving to the UK in 2019, I have added certifications in PRINCE2 Agile, P3O (Portfolio, Programme and Project Offices), M_o_R (Management of Risk) and Lean Six Sigma. Since 2019, I have been training others in these methods, gaining an intimate understanding of them and how to apply them in practice.
Throughout my career, I have developed a proven success record in managing a software systems unit, including the delivery of systems projects, while aligning technology solutions with business goals to drive process improvements and IT transformation.
With a strategic focus and attention to detail, I have demonstrated achievements in leveraging information systems to support organisational goals. I am known for my ability to produce high-quality deliverables that meet timeline and budgetary targets, and I excel at developing and maintaining detailed project plans.
I am an adept communicator, easily liaising between business and technical units to achieve on-time and on-spec project completions. Additionally, I am a competent and experienced training consultant in project management and related disciplines.
